| About the Artist I have been a certified car nut all my life. I knew the make and model of almost every car by the time I was 3 and I did my first perspective drawing of a car when I was 5!! At the age of 16, Mr. Alex Tremulus (the great automobile designer) met with me at the University of Nevada, Reno. He offered me a full-ride scholarship to the Art Center of Design in Pasedena after high school graduation. While waiting, I started my fine art career by doing vehicle portraits for car collectors. I ended up giving up my dream of automobile design and walked away from my scholarship. I entered the casino industry after discussions with family and a fellow car nut by the name of Bill Harrah, founder of Harrah's Casinos. At the time, he also had the largest auto collection in the world. I spent many hours at his collection sketching those wonderful cars! While my gaming career took off, I continued to paint and sketch. I had showings at the old Harrah's Swap Meet and the later Hot August Nights events. My Formula 1 pictures were shown at the Monaco Grand Prix in the mid '80's and other works have appeared at numerous Automobile and Motorcycle venues over the years. I have been creating original works professionally for over thirty years for Motorsports Professionals, Auto Collectors and just plain Car Nuts.
